By downloading, installing, or using DomainLens ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
DomainLens is a domain intelligence scanning application that queries publicly available data sources to provide information about internet domains, including DNS records, SSL/TLS certificates, security headers, WHOIS data, and vulnerability information.
Permitted Use
- The App is intended for lawful security research, IT administration, educational purposes, and personal use.
- You may scan any publicly accessible domain.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Conduct unauthorized penetration testing or attack any system.
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt any third-party services or APIs.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App beyond what applicable law permits.
Third-Party Services
The App queries free, public APIs and services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services. Their use is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- Scan results are complete, accurate, or current.
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of vulnerabilities.
- Results constitute professional security advice or a complete security assessment.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on scan results, actions taken based on scan findings, or inability to use the App.
Intellectual Property
DomainLens and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Harry Caskey. The App's source code is available on GitHub under the repository's license terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
